Elliott Sebag (aka Evan Hays) made his first steps into audio with the wish to share and make discover to other people the music that he loves so much.
He started with Djing, characterized by long eclectic Dj sets, mixing multiple House/Techno subgenres along old school, exotic or even experimental influences.
You might have heard him mostly in Paris or Montreal in some places like the Redlight, Batofar, Folies Pigalle, 4 Elements, Panic Room, Concorde Atlantique, Newspeak, Le Belmont or at his stop at the Marvellous island Festival in 2016.
On the side, he quickly discovered the production/studio world and made his first audio experiments, with since the beginning a strong attraction for audio synthesis and modulations. We indeed find this back in his tracks with those catchy synths, rich and bewitching that keeps evolving with life.
Along with his childhood friend, Lowel, Evan cofounded TDF Records a collective born association which has now become a full part Label. Based between Paris & Montreal, TDF gathers a few artists, organize some events and release some underground Techno music.
His interest for audio technique led Elliott to acquire more knowledge & experience via an Audio Production Technique formation at Musitechnic which he completed with “excellence mention”. He developed some competences in various domains from audio recording/engineering to sound design, post production for video content, dynamic audio integration into video games via the Wwise Engine which he is both 101 & 110 certified user…
During the last years he specialized himself into musical Mixdown & Mastering mainly into electronic music (Techno/House) as well as experimental, reggae, folk pop … which he offers his services via Smart DSP.
Do not hesitate to contact him for any collaboration!
Finally, more recently he started a second website more oriented towards Audio (Post) Production where you’ll be able to find his references, favourite freewares list, key binding list & downloadable custom mapping, in-depth audio articles & templates/files, etc. Check it out at www.elliottsebag.com !
